CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Simulation enables visualization of hot spots, complex thermal paths, and temperature distribution in the components of interest. By numerically solving Navier-Stokes equation and energy equation (using finite volume method) in higher order accurate schemes reliable simulations are performed and visualized.
Results from the analysis of these simulations flow directly into product development and reduce the time required to a minimum. In addition, a detailed insight into the functioning of the individual components is generated. In turn any shortcomings and failure that may arise can be counteracted in advance. Tests on and with prototypes are almost completely eliminated.
Through our specialization, extensive database of boundary conditions and efficient simulation approaches, thermal products are simulated close to physical conditions for worst case scenarios as well as reducing project duration.
